We never underestimate the importance of safety. We provide a safe and healthy working environment and a program of continuous improvement for our employees through the provision of information, instruction and training. To achieve our safety objectives, we have implemented an in depth HSE Management System designed specifically to address the legislative and regulative requirements of our industry and to provide our people with a workable format to effectively deliver safety into our workplace.  Our Management System includes:

  • Identification of appropriate occupational safety & health standards with legislation as a minimum requirement
  • Rigorous procedures and documentation to direct and support an organised and compliant approach to safety
  • Regular inspections and audits to identify occupational safety and health hazards and operational non-compliance
  • Regular machinery inspections and maintenance to comply with regulations and highlight safety issues and safeguard operators
  • Regular staff tool box meetings and management meetings to identify , communicate and discuss safety issues in our workplace
  • Prioritising the elimination or reduction of risk by hazard identification and thorough risk assessment on all projects and plant
  • Continually improving safe operating procedures, hazard and risk assessments and supporting documentation
  • Continually testing, reviewing and redeveloping procedures to ensure best practice
  • PPE provision and training in the correct use
  • Employee training in safe operating procedures
  • Maintenance of an up-to-date register of all employee HSE training, qualifications and licenses for maintaining qualifications, developing further competencies and delivering qualified staff to site
  • Open communication to ensure adequate consultation between management, supervisors and employees
  • Working as a team to achieve the goal of zero lost time injury (LTI)
